Christmas…a time for celebrating with family and friends, enjoying good food and special treats, the joyous sounds of happy children exploring presents left beneath the tree…a time of plenty. This is the hope of every child and yet many, right in our own community, will not know what most of us take for granted.

Partnering with Abraham Lincoln High School and Walter J. Porter Elementary School, local churches and the community, the Rock Church is hosting the Fifteenth Annual Toys for Joy Christmas Event. We may never know the lastingimpact of providing for these underprivileged children; however, we can know the satisfaction received from giving to others.

Will you open your heart to touch the life of a young child this year? With the generosity of businesses and organizations, the impact can be far reaching. We expect to provide for 12,000 children and their families this year. The need is great.
